Not considering the economy, competition, your financial state of affairs or your customers it is possible to reshape or reinvent your business with the help of the following marketing tips.

1. Think widely.

Rather than looking at the shrinking numbers, ask, "How can I attract ten times more consumers than before?" There are numerous customers but they may be too far away. If you promote to a city, consider talking to ten cities, if you market to a state/province then start a campaign in the whole country, if you cover completely a country then go international.

2. Do a glossy brand revamp.

It is likely that your buyers do not see you for the reason that they literally do not observe you. When your consumers think about whom they wish to purchase from they may have passed you by in the list. On the other side if you just repackage with a dazzling new glossy look (suitable to your market) you may adjust their impression of you. It will give you one more chance.

Your business model developed 0.5 or 1.5 years ago might be not up-to-date for the next 1.5 year. If you are struggling for survival, step outside the bounds, ask who is performing better then you, and will figure out a tactic to emulate and surpass them.

4. Ask your vendors.

Ask your suppliers how they can do their best to assist your development. It may be prices cut, credit terms, joint advertising expenses or an exclusivity on a new product line. They almost certainly have favorable offers, which you have not yet take advantage of.

5. Manage to find out why prospects are not buying.

Within this obvious and simple analysis, a surprising revelation will appear regarding what the customers are willing to purchase and what company they prefer if not yours. Do not finish until the pattern comes out. When the pattern is figured out, find a way to satisfy the customers with what they want regardless of what you have to do.
